Plan a Creative Field Trip to The Color Wheel! 🎨🚌 Bring your class or group to The Color Wheel for a fun, hands-on art experience they'll never forget! Our pottery painting field trips are perfect for schools, daycares, camps, and homeschool groups. 🎨 What’s Included: A 2-hour guided pottery painting session All materials and supplies Glazing and kiln firing of each piece Studio fee and pottery piece A fun and educational artistic experience led by our creative staff 💵 Cost: $24.00 per participant (Price includes studio fee + pottery piece) 🕑 Session Duration: Each field trip lasts approximately 2 hours — enough time for painting, creativity, and clean-up. Cancellation Policy

The Color Wheel Field Trip Policy At The Color Wheel, we are excited to welcome schools, homeschool groups, daycares, and other youth organizations for fun and educational pottery painting field trips! Our studio offers a unique opportunity for students to explore their creativity while learning about color theory, artistic techniques, and the pottery process in a hands-on environment. Booking & Group Size Field trips must be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance. We can accommodate groups of 10 to 40 students at one time. For larger groups, we offer the option to rotate between painting and other planned activities or split into multiple time slots. Duration Field trips typically last 60–90 minutes, depending on the activity. We recommend arriving 10 minutes early to allow time for check-in and instructions. Cost Pricing is based on the selected project and group size. Packages start at $12 per student, which includes: One pottery item (such as a tile, mug, or figurine) Use of all painting materials and supplies Instruction from experienced art teachers Glazing and kiln firing of each piece Teachers and chaperones are free unless they choose to participate. Supervision & Chaperones We require 1 adult chaperone per 10 students. Chaperones are expected to assist with supervision and help maintain a calm, respectful environment. Payment & Cancellations A deposit of 25% is required at the time of booking to hold your date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the field trip. Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund of the deposit. Finished Projects Pottery pieces will be glazed and kiln-fired by our staff. Finished items will be ready for pick-up within 7–10 days. We will contact the organizing teacher or group leader when they are ready. Accessibility & Special Needs The Color Wheel is wheelchair accessible, and we strive to accommodate students with special needs. Please let us know in advance if any specific accommodations are needed. Behavior Expectations Students are expected to listen to staff instructions and treat materials, equipment, and others with respect. Inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the activity
